Our client had always wanted a Westport, and had been watching the resale market for the last decade. When this boat came on the market, the price was right but she had not been maintained for sometime, her interior was dated and worn, and she was in need of significant upgrades.
The idea was to update the interior to create a clean, modern space and to create a decor that echoed the high-end contemporary style of the owners’ home but with a comfortable, charter-friendly appeal. Of course, as we got into the refit, we uncovered areas that needed attention which led to more work. Our client had a thorough attention to detail and wanted the project to be done right, so we addressed each area with the aim of bringing the entire yacht up to 2020 standards.
