This was a quick decor refit that involved the main areas of the boat – the main salon, skylounge, master stateroom, crew areas and all of the exterior deck areas. We did all new carpeting, fabrics and upholstery throughout. The original interior had a strong Western motif, so we faced a bit of a challenge with items such as the custom drum shades over the dining table that were installed to be somewhat permanent, but we located a custom shade manufacturer who could make new drum shades for us. Some of the furnishings had very high-end orange-toned leatherwork in certain areas such as the chair backs and legs. We didn’t want to change the furniture completely due to lead times and costs involved. We also didn’t want to reupholster the frames because of the leather so we decided to work with it and brought that orange tone in a little bit of some of the materials with complementary materials and colors. In the skylounge we built a curved sectional so the owners could enjoy movies.

Although the carpet throughout was in good condition, it was necessary to change the very specific foyer carpet designed with Greek key and the previous owner’s initials. We were not changing the carpet in the entire main salon, however, so this gave us the opportunity to do something different at the entry that we wouldn’t necessarily do throughout the entire salon. In the skylounge we built a large curved sectional with another storage ottoman so the owners could enjoy movies. We also changed the carpet to get rid of more Greek key patterns.
