Following a single four-hour walk-through of this 73M/242’ Admiral in early December, we immediately began working with the Owners and crew to develop the scope and design direction for an extensive, fast-paced refit. With the yacht away for the holidays, planning and procurement continued so that work could begin immediately upon her return in January. The timeline: just 10 weeks.

The project touched nearly every area of the yacht. We created a fully equipped gym with dedicated cardio, free weight and yoga zones, and transformed an adjacent space into a serene spa incorporating massage and facial treatments, manicure and pedicure stations, a slate water feature, stone and wood feature walls, and custom cabinetry. A new stew pantry was also incorporated alongside the spa.

The galley underwent a complete renovation, including removal and replacement of the deteriorated subfloor and supports, new insulation and sound dampening, new cabinetry, commercial appliances, flooring and drainage.

Throughout the yacht, we refreshed upholstered walls, flooring, window treatments, lighting, furniture, leatherwork, glass, mirrors and soft décor. Guest accommodations were updated with larger recessed televisions, new wall finishes and convertible king/twin beds, while feature walls and new furnishings transformed key gathering spaces including the skylounge, observation lounge and cinema.

This project presented an ambitious scope and a remarkably compressed schedule, which we met with a bow-to-stern transformation, all completed in 10 weeks.
