64' Grand Banks Trawler Paikea II Refit Progress Update
Each refit project is its own new beginning, promising the potential of enjoyment with family and friends and future memories to be made. That’s exactly what the owner of the 64’ Grand Banks Paikea II had in mind for his trawler yacht refit project.
Rather than purchasing a new boat, this owner has decided to undertake an extensive refit on his beloved current yacht to both update the look and create a functional space that will suit his young family. This project is significant in scope, as our plans include transforming the guest accommodations, removing built-in furniture, incorporating functional outdoor entertainment and cooking areas and restoring the woodwork throughout.

Overall the yacht is being given a fresh, updated look, with the faded teak being toned to have a rich mahogany look in some areas and painted a contrasting bright white in others.
