Why are we drawn to the water? Why do we buy the boat? Why do we long to explore? To anyone in the yachting world, yachting is about exponentially more than just โstatusโ. The yacht represents the ability to enjoy life with our family and friends, to travel, to carve out adventure, to soak in everything that makes life special. Itโs ingrained in the human spirit – perhaps a Quixote-esque desire to seek new experiences, to challenge monotony, to dream the impossible dream. To be tethered to the shore – any shore – simply does not suit.
The Wow Factor...
To seek adventure also means to have fun! So, when the owners of one of our whimsically luxurious design projects – the 142โ Christensen Lady Bee – called me, I knew their request would be exciting and it is. Weโve just begun the design of a โwow factorโ wine wall between the main salon and dining salon. And, to add an extra element of excitement, we will be designing, fabricating and installing the unit before their next trip…in four weeks! Stay tuned for more.
