Westport 112 Yacht No Shortcuts Refit Progress
We are excited to begin a new yacht refit of the 2006 Westport 112 Yacht previously known as Dream Weaver, recently purchased by a young couple. Christened No Shortcuts, this beautiful yacht will be updated and refreshed to take her new owners and their family and friends on many happy voyages.
For this project, we will be giving the boat an updated, clean look that complements and highlights the yacht’s original cherry wood finishes. Westport is known for its exquisite woodworking and joinery work that is done in-house at the shipyard in Port Angeles, Washington. The veneers and panels transition well to any style so we have no problem when an owner chooses to maintain the original interior wood. The owner has event design experience and a keen eye for detail, but wanted a specialized yacht interior designer to execute her vision. This is a common topic that experienced owners understand, which we explore in our blog topic, Hiring a Yacht Interior Designer.
The demo is underway and the exterior painting has begun at Rybovich Marine Center!
