112′ Westport Yacht Hannah Refit Progress: VIP Conversion
Interestingly many of our current projects, including the 112′ Westport Yacht Hannah, the 80′ Hatteras Yacht Chelsea and the 64′ Grand Banks Trawler Yacht Paikea II are for owners with young families. Balancing the yacht interior design to appeal to multiple generations is important whether the yacht is intended for private or charter use. Upgrades in entertainment and attention to today’s needs for “connectivity” must be considered, alongside multi-functional spaces for relaxation and impromptu pillow fights or, space-permitting, cartwheels.
The VIP Suite on board the Hannah was not built with the traditional layout. It was originally built with two cabins, two toilet rooms, and one shower to be used as a space for crew. With the intention of using this boat not only for family but also for charter use, the owner requested that we convert the space back to a more standard 112′ Westport Yacht layout with one queen v-berth, a settee, dresser and closet and one head.
We’ve been busy coordinating all of our many amazing contractors and the demolition and construction of this VIP Suite and other areas throughout the 112′ Westport Yacht Hannah.
